    About GACI

    Mission:

    We aim to help decision makers to understand the policy implications of new research. GACI brings unbiased, bipartisan education strategies to drive systemic change in education, child development, human services, and health policy by educating and training California’s government policy makers with expert information and insight. GACI has a full time staff and a team of expert consultants in public policy as well as logistics planning and event design. These staff and consultants come from senior positions in state government as well as from private and non-profit leadership

    History:

    For more than 20 years, the principals at GACI have provided legislative training and education through events and other projects. The policy topics that we cover include but are not limited to: health, early learning, education, family services, the aging population, and people with disabilities. We have organized and produced over 300 conferences, summits, and symposia, briefings and seminars, private meetings, educational tours, webinars, and one-on-one discussions. The events and projects have been completed for major California foundations such as:

    - The California Endowment
    - David and Lucile Packard Foundation
    - California Wellness Foundation
    - California HealthCare Foundation
    - Blue Shield California
    - Foundation The SCAN Foundation

    GACI is a trusted advisor to California policy leaders who benefit from GACI's unbiased, bipartisan education and training programs. Programs include face-to-face training and tours as well as published reports.

    The GACI Team:

    GACI has an internal team of dedicated individuals who are experienced in producing well-orchestrated policy leader educational events and trainings programs. We also have a team of expert consultants in public policy as well as logistics planning and event design. These consultants come from senior positions in state government as well as from private and non-profit leadership.
